Leave of absence
This will be my last post for a little while – hopefully not a long time. I may update occasionally, however at the moment life has gotten in the way and the inspiration and motivation to focus on my writing is not there.
The reason for my (hopefully temporary) absence is that my fiance, Matt, has recently developed a growth on his leg. Upon inspection it appears that the growth is likely to be some form of cancer. He had a biopsy a couple of days ago, and we are waiting on results next week. We are crossing our fingers that it will be something that can be easily dealt with.
Writing children’s stories has been a big part of my life for the past few years, and I fully intend to continue, however I will not be able to dedicate the time and energy to regularly update this blog with so many other things on my mind.
Thank you to all of those who have been reading so far, your support and feedback has been amazing, and I’m sorry I couldn’t keep going longer. I will update again when we know what we are dealing with, hopefully to assure you all that it is nothing too serious.
Thank you again,
